Death by Choccywoccydoodah, well almost!

So this time last week I was busy battling with a 2yr old, the only thing keeping me sane the knowledge that I would soon be heading to Choccywoccydoodah and the delights of their secret room.

The wonderful Mummy Barrow was the brains behind our little outing, but a shared love of chocolate and cake was the driving factor!Choccywoccydoodah Lovebirds

I first came across Choccywoccydoodah whilst on a hen weekend in Brighton and was immediately floored by their chocolate creations and epic cakes and on walking into their shop in London the impact was no less dramatic. Every little detail was considered right down to these sweet little love birds nestling in a cubby in the wall.

First there was a chance for some warm-up cake in the shop downstairs, all of which gave us a taste of the joys yet to come and then it was upstairs, through the hustle and bustle of the cafe and on to the secret room!

Now, you can only book the secret room for 10 or more people, hence T collecting us rabble together so we could enjoy it, and enjoy it we did.  I was expecting cake and chocolate and lots of laughs and all three of these were there in spades with some added wonderment and sweets thrown in for good measure!

It was fantastic to meet so many of the lovely bloggers I have chatted to online and even though it was my first time meeting most of them it was brilliant how at ease everyone was.  I was especially pleased to meet the lovely Angie from Cakes, Photo’s, Life who had honoured us by starting her journey before six in the morning!  She got my gold star for most effort! ;)

The secret room would be the perfect place for a hen party or baby shower as it has a really relaxed atmosphere but still feels like such a treat! If you want to find our more, all the details are here.

The staff were all amazing too, especially the lovely Laura who was put in charge of us rowdy lot, if I had been in her shoes I thnk I may have resigned but I think at Choccywoccydoodah it’s all about not quite fitting in, which is why we fitted in so well!

A massive thank you to T for organising (and letting me use some of her pics too) and to everyone at Choccywoccydoodah for making our afternoon!

Now, sit back and enjoy the chocolate lovelyness…

P.S. just in case you were wondering, we all paid for our visit to Choccywoccydoodah so nothing to disclose here. :)
