Yes, it’s true, I am taking part in the Team Honk Sport Relief Blogger Relay, yes really, yes, yes I know, what was I thinking, well, those crazy chicks Tanya, Annie and Penny the founding members of Team Honk (do you remember them, and their EPIC trip to Ghana with Comic Relief?) have twisted my arm and so I find myself part of this…
So starting tomorrow the blogger baton takes off on it’s meandering journey from Lands End to John O’Groats (it’s not exactly the direct route, check out the map!).
For my sins I am joining forces with Tanya (a.k.a Mummy Barrow) and Charly from PODcast along with a couple of stragglers in the shape of Ivan and Bruce to get the baton from Fleet to Wokingham on the 6th February. The baton is being delivered to Fleet Station the evening before by train by the London team but not wanting to make life easy for ourselves we have decided that A to B in a straight line would be boring and after all, we love a challenge. So, we’ve decided to test out our local public transport as we travel by bus (in some ridiculious fancy dress get up still to be defined but there has been talk of onsies, uh oh…) the long way round (via, Farnborough, Camberley & Crowthorne) completing the final 3 miles on foot to finish at Luckley School where we pass on to the next relay team in the shape of Suzanne from 3 Children and It cycling with Belinda (not a blogger) and Filipa from Gourmet Mum who will take the baton on to Reading.
We will (signal allowing) be tweeting, instagramming and facebooking our way along so I am sure there will be some embarrassing moments or pictures for you all to see, sooooooo I was wondering if that’s worth donating a couple of quid for?? And, if you’re not sure about that, then check out what the rest of Team Honk are up to, maybe you’ll think the whole event is worth a little bit of sponsorship.
You can keep up with Team Honk and the blogger relay on:

So go on, pop on over to the Team Honk Fundraising Page or to make it really easy just text HONK to 70005 to donate a fiver, pretty please with a cherry on top, I will love you forever!! x
